Elena Vyaznikova - Flute
Elena Vyaznikova began playing flute at the age of eleven. She finished the music college Ippolitov- Ivanov and began her studies at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow with Alexander Korneev. In 2004 she moved to the Netherlands to continue her education at the Royal Conservatory in Den Haag, studying with Eline van Esch (1st flute Residentie Orkest) and Kersten McCall (1st flute Concertgebouw Orchestra). After recieving a Bachelor Degree she moved to the Conservatorium of Amsterdam to study with Harrie Starreveld and will recieve her Masters Degree in december 2010. She has had coachings in historical performance practise with Wilbert Hazelzet and is taking regular piccolo lessons with the Solopiccolo player of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Vincent Cortvrient. Elena has attended masterclasses with Robert Dick, Jenny Baxtresser, Emily Beynon, William Bennett and Andrea Lieberknecht. In Russia she has worked with several orchestras, including the "Orkestr Nachional'nih Instrumentov" directed by N. Kalinin. Since moving to the Netherlands she performed with several Orchestras and Ensembles, such as de MUSE, Nederlandse Nieuwe Muziek Group and Modelo62 and has performances as a chamber musician with her duopartner Tobias Borsboom and the Harp-trio Elvisa. |
